The healing experience begins in the outer office where the aroma of lavender offers a soothing experience for your senses, couple that with the soft music in a totally relaxing and inviting atmosphere. There is no interruption in these feelings as they continue through the treatment where many patients fall asleep on the heated beds. The use of acupuncture in combination with electric stimulation and mineral-heat therapy affords the patient a quicker than usual break in the cycle of pain. In fact, the style of acupuncture used most often for pain is Acupuncture Physical Medicine. It is a method that incorporates the technique of Myofascial release of soft tissue constrictions also know as trigger points that are not released through other treatment modalities. It is very useful in relaxing those tight muscles that become blocked and strained into holding patterns against the stressors of life. I have studied with Dr. Randine Lewis, the author of "The Infertility of Cure", and have assisted many patients in getting pregnant in combination with Assisted Reproductive Therapy (ART) or without assistance of ART. Unlike my competitors, I concentrate on one patient at a time. I do not have several rooms going at once and I do not practice other modalities like chiropractic and physical therapy simultaneously. The patient truly receives an individual (not cookie cutter) treatment in a calm and serene atmosphere. The patient has my undivided attention so that if there needs to be any adjustment in the treatment or just to be present for comfort and compassion and to be heard. It allows me to create the ultimate experience for the patient. I also schedule the appointment for one hour and that is the patient's time.
